The FloorBed 1 sits at just 71mm from the floor, dramatically reducing the risk and severity of falls for users who may exit the bed unaided, while still delivering the full profiling functions of a modern nursing bed. When care is needed, it rises to 650mm so carers can work at a safe, comfortable height.
Backrest auto-regression and kneebreak profiling aid comfort and pressure management, and a flexible handset usable from either side includes a lockout and auto-safety stop for peace of mind. An optional extension kit adds 200mm of length for taller users.
